About Lost Lore

Lost Lore Tequila 失落傳說龍舌蘭
Tequila can only be made in Mexico, mostly in Jalisco
  • Founded in 2021 by Arturo Lamas III, who has restored the legacy of tequila making in his family lost in his generation
  • Additive-free across all their tequilas
  • Fermented with Champagne yeast in an environment where classical music is played
  • Crafted by renowned tequila distiller Sergio Cruz

Among all four tequilas tasted, I enjoyed Valley Blanco 2025 Edition the most. The jalapeño finish was just too unique and did not go away for a very long time.

Tequila Fast Fact

The heart of the agave plant is baked or steamed (to have its carbohydrates converted to fermentable sugars). The cooked agave is then crushed into juice, ready for fermentation. The fermented juice is then twice distilled. Post-distillation, the length of ageing in predominantly American oak barrels determines the style: Blanco for 0-2 months, Reposado for 2 months to 1 year, Añejo for 1-3 years, Extra Añejo for at least 3 years. Joven is a blend of unaged Blanco with Reposado, Añejo or Extra Añejo.
